Hawthorn Food Pantry

We kindly ask for the community's support and generosity in helping the Hawthorn Food Pantry continue to provide essential resources to those in need. Your donations of non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and financial contributions are crucial in enabling us to serve our community. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors.

How to Help the Hawthorn Food Pantry

Requested Food Pantry Items: 

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly 
  • Canned Fruits & fruit cups 
  • Sugar & Salt
  • Cooking Oil 
  • Breakfast Items Non-Perishable: Cereal, Oatmeal, etc. 
  • Pasta & Rice 
  • Pasta Sauce 
  • Boxed Meals & Side Dishes (Mac & Cheese, Knorr Sides, Hamburger Helper, etc.) 
  • Healthy Snacks & Juice Boxes: Granola Bars, Fruit Pouches, etc.

Requested Household & Hygiene Items: 

  • Soap/Body Wash
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet Paper
  • Dish Soap
  • Wipes
  • Diapers

If you are unable to donate items at this time, we also welcome monetary donations. These funds will be used to purchase the items listed above. To make a monetary donation, please visit this link: https://hawthorn73.revtrak.net/donations/

Donations can be dropped off at Elementary North or the Hawthorn District Office.

Cub Scouts (You Belong in Scouts: 

You Belong in Scouts!  Cub Scouts is open to both boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade.  Cub Scouts fosters character, outdoor skills, and teamwork. Engaging activities are designed for families to get in on the fun and include exploring the outdoors, building projects, making friends, and developing a lifelong love of learning.  Come learn more:  Thursday, September 12, 2024, 6:30-7:30pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 595 N. Scouts BSA (Explore Scouting)

Explore Scouting!  Scouts BSA is an introduction to the great outdoors for boys ages 11 through 17.  Scouting builds leaders.  Former scouts serve on the boards of global corporations, walk the halls of the White House and have been known to go hiking on the Moon occasionally.  Discover how your child can become part of the adventure.  Come learn more:  Thursday, September 12, 2024, 7:00-8:30pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 595 N.
