All Students Read Together on Read Across America Day

In celebration of Read Across America Day, all students at Townline and the School of Dual Language dropped everything and read for half an hour beginning at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, March 6. For the kindergarten and first grade classrooms, fourth and fifth grade students read to the students. Read Across America Day is an annual observance inaugurated by the NEA (National Education Association). It is held in recognition of Dr Seuss’ birthday.
