Families Enjoy a Night of Hawaiian Flair at Virtual Winter Luaus

Students and their families learned all about Hawaii during Virtual Winter Luau events at Townline Elementary and the School of Dual Language on Monday evening. They learned about the history and culture of the Aloha State. A highlight of the night was a hula dancing lesson. Students wore colorful leis they had received during the last student supply pick up and danced along with a video. Everyone had great fun. The schools are planning another fun event in February.

Connecting Through Music

Mrs. Stanley reviewed bowing techniques with her fourth-grade beginning cello students at the School of Dual Language. Although classes are virtual, music teachers continue to inspire and connect with students through music.
